Question 1

What is AI For Society?

Accepted Answer

AI For Society is a festive-launch program by Write Code Society with eight separate AI courses — one each for children (AI सूझबूझ), teens, non-tech college students, tech students, homemakers (AI जीवनकौशल), entrepreneurs, professionals and senior citizens (AI जीवनसहायक). Each course teaches AI with examples from that group's everyday life.

Question 2

Do I need to know coding to learn AI here?

Accepted Answer

No. Seven of the eight tracks need no coding at all — you learn to use AI tools in plain language. Only the Tech Students track goes deeper into models, prompts and APIs for learners who want to build with AI.

Question 3

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Each track is ₹900 instead of ₹4,500 — the 80% WCS Scholarship is already applied. Every track is a separate course, so you pay only for the one you choose.

Question 4

How is the course taught?

Accepted Answer

Every track is taught through short, guided lessons on the Write Code Society learning platform (LMS), so you can learn at your own pace from your phone or computer.

Question 5

What do I get with my track?

Accepted Answer

Along with the course you get LMS access, a one-on-one career counselling session and a Write Code Society membership card, with examples, tools and projects chosen for your stage of life.

Question 6

Can senior citizens or complete beginners join?

Accepted Answer

Yes. AI जीवनसहायक, the track for senior citizens, uses simple language and voice assistants, and covers staying connected with family, finding information and avoiding online fraud. Every track starts from the basics.

Question 7

Can I join more than one track?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each track is a separate course bought on its own, so a family can choose different tracks — for example one for a child and one for a grandparent.

Question 8

How do I join?

Accepted Answer

Choose your track, pay ₹900 securely online and start learning. If you have a festive pass, scan its QR code to choose your category and enrol.
